The Australian Oil & Gas industry stands before a period of major growth and increased challenges for the coming decade. Safehouse Habitats, as a company, are now positioned to provide a modern, pro-active service, that meets those challenges.

In addition to enhancing service delivery to our existing customer base, this new development underlines our commitment to a programme of investment and expansion, that will provide us with ample resources to meet new client demands and expand our business into the future.

Our modern offices and workshop are located in Kewdale commercial district, on the western periphery of Perth WA.

SafeHouse Habitats is in the business of making hot work safer. We specialize in the supply and installation of positive pressure flexible enclosures used when there is a requirement to safely execute hot work (welding, cutting, grinding, sandblasting) in areas where hydrocarbons may be present. Our habitats are typically used within refineries, gas plants, petro-chemical facilities and on offshore platforms/FPSOs.

Conducting "hot work" such as welding, cutting or grinding generates heat and sparks. In certain environments hot working can be extremely hazardous, particularly where there may be combustible gases, particularly hydrocarbons, present, for example on oil/gas search and production rigs and facilities, oil refineries, chemical plants and the like. Hot work habitats (or enclosures) permit hot work to be conducted in such environments. A hot work habitat is an enclosure which can be built around the area in which hot work is to be performed.
